My Byond Username is Humanity First, I don't know the reason for the connection to be rejected.

The first obvious question is 'Are you using a VPN?'

i'm having the same problem! its saying im on a vpn but this computer doent even have one installed. username is bittybyte on byond btw

Hello! Due to bad actors performing crash exploits on the server, I've tighten the trigger for vpn/proxy detection from the normal 8 or higher badness score required to a 2 badness score on the ip. This is bound to have false positives but only triggers on accounts with less then 5 hours of play time.

This will be loosen as byond updates come out fixing the crash exploit.

addendum: we are expecting a better fix early this upcoming week. and i'll be sure to send out a ping on discord once it's live!
