BYOND account:ShizuPinu
Character name: Jackson "Boss" Price (I forgot)
Ban type:Server Ban
Ban length:30 days
Ban reason: Player shot another marine, repeatedly for killing a pet, due to extensive priors and lack of understanding of the rules, this is your last step before being permabanned from this server.
Round ID in which ban was placed:29814
Your side of the story: Just some tomfoolery regarding the marine who shot newt for no reason on the tadpole, shot at em, barely landing any good shot about 4-7 hit him as he ran away.
Why you think you should be unbanned: Rather harsh of a ban for something minor as if I killed an FC or made someone unrevivable during prep when its easily medicated with a few pills or so.

Re: [BAN] JeanManche ShizuPinu
Good afternoon,
Decision : I am denying your appeal.
Reasoning : Yes, your action should have resulted in a simple, yet formal warning if you had no priors or a light history, or even the situation would have ended with the smite I gave you because I am a quite lazy admin when it comes to paperwork.
But, after smiting you, I looked at your notes to check for repeating pattern or priors. You had increasing bans for griefing, or soft griefing e.g.: nades on ship, killed a marine that insulted you, EORG, griefing medbay, griefing a player in valhalla. And finally, this situation.
Your history is not about simple tomfoolery, this is about you griefing other players. Your fun comes at the expense of others, or regardless of others outside the boundaries of gameplay.
The staff cannot warn players forever for actions they were already warned, and, in your situation, already punished for. You are supposed to learn from your actions and not repeating them.
I would agree at some extent to reduce the ban length, but considering your strategy is to underestimate the rulebreak rather than just acknowledging the rulebreak and saying you would follow rules in the future, I prefer denying your appeal.
