Why should this appeal be accepted?:

This is what happened:

The clown was getting a job change, I took his ID from the HOP desk as a prank, ran around the tram for about 20 seconds then dropped the ID on the floor, the HOP walked through and took it, the clown started punching me in the face over and over until I was dead, while security watched and then released the clown, I ahelped because

1) I don't think taking the clowns ID for 20 seconds for a prank warrants an execution.
2) CLowns are meant to be humilliated and made fun of, that's their job, to make people laugh.
3) Retrieving an ID is security's job, you can't in an MRP sever just go around being a vigilante and KILLING people because stuff like this.
4) The admin made up the fact that I purposely "griefed a clown" by taking their ID for 20 seconds and that I maliciously ahelped like I was planning the entire thing I WASNT expecting the clown to go on a murderous RAGE and kill me with punches while noone stopped it. that's why I ahelped. Because I don't think it's realistic for an mrp server to allow a CLOWN to KILL someone in the middle of the station by punching them, like wtf, do you even thought about this, imagine you're somewhere and there's a clown, you take their ID as a joke and they KILL YOU right there, yeah totally realistic RP interaction. According to this admin.

Basicly if you're a clown and someone does anything to annoy you you can just go and KILL THEM by punching them in the face and according to this admin that's ok, so don't bother ahelping if you annoy a clown and they kill you becuase it's completely valid, according to this admin. I don't think this is right aand I think this needs looking into by someone.

The full ban reason is as follows:

Stole the clowns ID for no reason because he personally thought it would be funny, lead the clown on a goose chase to get it back, and then adminhelped the clown when he got beaten to death for it. (Was brought to medbay and revived.)

Rule 1.
If you do something that has no benefit to you other than making others upset and adminhelp the in-game consequences, you may be banned instead.

You have recent notes about killing a random officer because another one inconvenienced you, another about pipe-bombing the bartender because he beanbagged you over breaking things in his bar, and about going around griefing the station to protest the wallening. Sort yourself out, you don't look like you're here to contribute to the server in any positive manner as things are.

Additionally, some context in response to one of your points:

We have historically empowered players who have had their equipment stolen to retrieve it without Security's assistance. Security is typically not required to be involved if someone is retrieving their own stuff from someone who stole it.

Ok I mean, got it, next time someone steals my id, which usually happens at some point, I'm just gonna murder them. No problemo.

Also wtf do the other notes ahve to do with this ban why are they being included other than to try to make me look bad? and also, boo whoo I have like 4 notes in over 10 years, BIG DEAL. I'm NOT an asshole and I didn't think it was reasonable to kill someone just because they took your id for 20 seconds, but I guess you a'ready crealred that up. It was a PRANK its not like I shoved him cuffed him and stole his id it was right on a desk and I gave it back. Also the note is biased because it says "inconvenienced" do you even know what happened that round? It wasnt just an "inconvenience" the banning admin wrote it like that and then CORREDTED IT on the forum, check out the ban appeal.

Escalation policy does generally permit for killing someone if they take something you have as part of escalation, as long as you take their body to medbay shortly after to have them healed.

Critically wounded characters must be treated or taken to the medbay by the standing party where reasonable, and taking unnecessary action against a downed player opens you up to reprisal. If you are incapacitated in a fight and treated, or the conflict is otherwise meaningfully broken, you are expected to require an IC reason beyond 'bruised ego' to re-initiate it.

Clown never took me to medbay, in fact they lcown kept punching me in the face while medics were trying to save me. and then ran off because security let it.

This appeal has been denied. The appellant is allowed to request a headmin review, but failing that, I will be moving this thread in 24 hours.
