Why should this appeal be accepted?:
I was a terrible person back 2 and a half years ago. I was racist, I was transphobic (plot twist I'm trans now! bigot to woman pipeline is real...) and just in general I was an asshole. One random day, I was lurking in #politics_containment, when somebody asked "What's going on with jellybean?" or something along those lines. Jellybean was a youtuber at the time who was receiving massive amounts of hate and was being doxed incessantly. I explained this to the person who asked, and sent a video containing dox information as an example of the things being posted about her. I wasn't trying to spread the dox information maliciously, but I spread it none the less. I was quickly banned from the discord, the game and the forums for this, as I should've been. This incident is on top of what had to have been 70 other notes generally showcasing that I was just not a good person or a positive player.
I know it's cliche and everybody says it when they make an appeal like this, but I have changed and I'm really not like how I was at all back 2 and a half years ago when I played TG. Since then I've grown as a person and bettered myself both in real life and in the online space. Since my ban I've played a litany of servers Monke, CM, TGMC, Fulp and a couple others. Since my ban from TG I've probably played more then 1,000 hours of these servers (and a couple others) and across those thousand plus hours I've probably accrued less then 5 notes, none of which serious (Besides one on Fulp which has since been successfully appealed). By all means my behavior back then was deplorable, but I can promise that I've changed from who I was back then and that I won't cause any further issues to TG and it's staff. I sincerely apologize for my past actions, as unforgivable as they are.
Since my ban I've been interested in rejoining TG as I do find it to be one of the more well maintained and enjoyable servers, with some of the better contributors making great PRs towards the game. Recently I saw discussion of the wallening, which is apparently nearing its completion, and after watching it be developed for what has to have been like, a year and half? Maybe more? I'd really love to be able to join back for the great community and development team that I was apart of 2 and a half years ago. Over the duration of this ban I've been learned to code in Dreammaker myself, mostly making PRs towards TG and it's downstreams, and I'd love to do more, but it's been a little tricky without access to the discord and the server to do so. Past the development side, as I touched on briefly before, TG also was just one of the funner servers which I played on with a community which I really enjoyed interacting with, being able to return would be amazing.
I only have one note on CM which is a little under 2 years old, and no notes on TGMC. As for the other servers I've played on in the meanwhile, I currently lack whitelist towards any of them (because I left the communities, not because of staff action).
While CM's policy prevents them from offering official vouches, the staff director can confirm that I've been a boy scout over there!
As far as I can remember, I've only had one serious infraction against me since I was blacklisted and that was on Fulpstation, where I was banned for using a term which I wasn't aware was offensive. That ban has since been appealed successfully.
