yes it's a completely normal name. We're capable as admins of distinguishing shitty names from "ok that guys just a normal dude named adolf"

"adolf" isn't trying to smuggle anything in. It's too loud to be a racist dogwhistle, and it's a perfectly normal name in the language tradition it comes from - it's more of an english-speaking world historical response to stop obvious German-affiliated cultural expression in general and being named "Adolf" or "Hitler" in particular

A lot of people changed to either swap or modify their names to be more "American" in this country, but there were (and are) lots of Adolfs, Adolfos, Dolph's, Ed's, Rudolf's, etc. running around that had nothing to do with the historical reference we should be concerned about.

It gets a lot more concerning and worth considering if they then go on to act like or imitate Hitler in-game or otherwise be a dick.

Adolf is just a regular German name, yeah. It's unfortunate that the primary association is with Hitler, but unless they're parodying Hitler or have a dumb last name, I don't see a reason they need to change their name.
