I ahelped saying that I don't like the default objectives because they are boring.

Lorwp asked; "would you like some?"
I said yes.

They're a nicer admin than I am; I would've given you harder ones. That math one is based though, very funny.

Nice and concise/professional in tickets, and is friendly otherwise.

Did warn me that my being friends with others in the server could be a problem based off of "vibes" without substantiating evidence to point me towards preventing it being a problem, which was confusing and a bit alarming, but I don't think this is a big mark against them as an admin.

Good addition to the team. Throw more fun events at the station! You do a good job with those, too!

in the interests of factual accuracy i can shed a little more light on this: it was actually me (and a few other admins) who suggested a non-accusatory conversation to happen when this was discussed, and it's not uncommon for us to approach otherwise good players who seem to be forming large and noticeable friend groups that they play with consistently to make sure everyone remembers the rules around metacomms etc, because we're very strict on them.

we tend to believe that it's better to just address any concerns as soon as possible and not hide anything from the player. there have unfortunately been multiple instances (more than one this year, in fact) where otherwise fine players got too caught up in the game, let their standards around metacomms slip among their friends, and by the time we catch wind of it, it's far too big of an issue to just ignore it and they are banned.

when suggesting this conversation, i was aware that everyone involved is a good player whom most manuelmins trust, so i thought it would not be too alarming to address these concerns openly and as soon as we noticed it. apologies if this caused any undue stress. we're not out to get you................... yet.

I figured this was the case, which was why I was trying to not be accusatory in turn! I appreciate the clarification greatly, and the only reason I wrote it in this thread is because I figured it would be good to try and have more clear pointers for behavior in times like that because I was honestly freaking out for a while afterwards.

If there's ever gonna be a reason for mintime to be out to get me it's gonna have to be way more entertaining than that. Now, back to lorwpthread!!!

Posts lots of questionable audio clips. Generally entertaining or funny. Definitely has a fucked up zoomer sense of humour, my kinda guy. Yes, I did just assume gender for this man, this masculine, macho male who has a penis, what of it? Anyway, to get right to the point. Fantastic admin. I wish her nothing but the best in this admin election.

Fun, fast, and fair in all the tickets I've had with her as a player - quick to help and supportive as an admin - knows how to make a round both insane and entertaining with her events.

had a "IC issue *closes ticket*" moment with them. Said that something only affected me so it was obviously just an IC issue that I should deal with myself. They were very apathetic about something that was bothering me and that made me feel worse about it. I have had similar experiences where Lowrp has told me things were IC issues and I feel like they use it as a cop out to not have to deal with things.

I think the tickets speak for themselves on this one, so i'm just going to post them here.

From Ticket #4 during round 232417 on Manuel:

---- Log Begins ----
2024-07-21 06:32:20: Ticket Opened by bingusdingus: This guy is "rodding" that is to say breaking a straight line through the station. He already broke disposals.
2024-07-21 06:32:49: Reply from lorwp: that seems like an issue for security
2024-07-21 06:39:40: Reply from bingusdingus: Nobody is doing anything about anything this guy has caused and I dont understand how purposely deconstructing the station isnt self antag shit
2024-07-21 06:40:21: Reply from lorwp: are they spacing the halls? it doesn't seem so.
2024-07-21 06:40:41: Reply from bingusdingus: theyre damaging wires and disposals
2024-07-21 06:41:31: Reply from lorwp: this still seems to be in the realm of a IC issue. neither of those are overly destructive, and pretty trivial to fix by engineering
2024-07-21 06:42:12: Reply from bingusdingus: It would be trivial if they did anything about it but now im being impacted be literally every single person up the chain giving me a shrug.
2024-07-21 06:46:11: Reply from lorwp: to be quite honest, i think that speaks to how little a OOC issue it is, if people aren't actively working to resolve it. sorry, IC issue.
2024-07-21 06:46:14: Marked as IC issue by Lorwp

From Ticket #9 during round 232417 on Manuel:

---- Log Begins ----
2024-07-21 06:47:24: Ticket Opened by bingusdingus: It still affects me because this guy is going to keep breaking disposals and the fact that it only affects me makies it an ic issue is such bad logic to operate on. Its because youre doing this dumb fucking event and dont want to deal with it.
2024-07-21 06:48:53: Reply from lorwp: if it's such an issue and stopping you from doing your job, why don't you just stop the guy doing it yourself?
2024-07-21 06:50:47: Reply from bingusdingus: because I wanted to go through all the avenues of what I thought was something that could be handled without killing another player its fucking shit that players are just expected to kill each other now because admins are too busy playing house to actually make sure people arent having a bad time because god forbid one person having a bad time isnt worth trying to AT LEAST do SOMETHING RIGHT?

I'm sorry this frustrated you, but this seemed (and still seems) to be firmly in the realm of a IC conflict. Your job (which was the janitor) does not hinge whatsoever on disposals being functional, there are other ways to dispose of trash than a series of tubes (even a turned off disposal bin would've served this purpose fine). This as an issue, frankly, seemed to only be affecting you for reasons that had very trivial solutions here, as by time you had disconnected they had barely reached security with their rodding.

Sorry, i don't see the issue here that had to be dealt with OOC. This was an assistant doing arts and crafts, if it was truly consisting of grief, security would have stopped them long before you ahelped this.

I want to add that even when Lorwp was involved within the clown's shenanigans this round, he took time in answering your ticket and asking us if this was an IC issue. I, and the other admin online agreed that this was something for security to deal with. I know that it upset you a bit and I also apologize for it but in reality, it really wasn't a big deal.

An assistant doing a rod bit that doesn't space the station and causes maybe a slight inconvenience to engineering is something that can totally be dealt with IC if sec cares about it. Intentionally griefing would be something more drastic, like deconstructing the brig and exposing it to space out of spite for a crime, or deconstructing walls connected to important APC's such as the SM's APC.
