thanks to git/tortoisegit's ineptitude and the wiki's inaccuracy, i'm having to make a thread to ask one of you nerds to create a PR for me. i am not going to go into what the error is doing, because i have spent the last four hours battling it, and eight different coding channels have no idea why it is happening. i have tried so many things.
