I made a post in the goof complaint where I discussed the issue at hand, from my perspective as the headcoder, and therefore one of those responsible for game mode management.
This post was dismissed as against the rules, despite not violating any rules, and adding valuable perspective from an involved perspective.
I think this is an incorrect ruling.

As I said on discord, "if you want to talk on your experience as a maintainer that's fine; it looked like a peanut post and I may have misjudged it."
Admin Complaint Rules:
Peanut Policy:
Adding to/adjusting the definitions so that players can post in a thread regarding something they weren't involved in, IF IT IS TO BRING UP/POINT TO/HIGHLIGHT a rule, precedent, or piece of evidence that was missed that is relevant to the situation.
This does NOT include:
"This happened to me once and I didn't get banned for it" or the reverse "This happened to me once and I got banned for it."
"My opinion is..." or "I feel like..."
Regrettably there is no way that I am aware of for me to retrieve a disapproved message, so I cannot re-evaluate whether or not this falls under peanut policy or not.

The miscommunication has been resolved so I'm going ahead and locking this up.
