Your side of the story: First of all I want to say that I totally did ban evade. But not on this account (on purpose at least.) Around maybe a year ago (?) I was first banned from TG on my account eatafrickinpotato. After a few months I decided I was too lazy to try to get unbanned, which wasn't a very good idea. I didn't get caught for evasion, some how, but got banned for some other shit, most likely being a dick to the mods after getting ahelped for some random minor rule breaking incident and them just deciding they didn't want to deal with me. But I forgot about that, because a few months later my computers PSU decided to die in a very small explosion, meaning I wouldn't be playing SS13 for a while. Keep in mind this was all six months ago with almost no contact with the community. I got a new computer recently and I figured I would try out TG station, forgetting I had been banned. The reason I tried out TG station was because previously I was playing fulpstation which was being really laggy for me, so I figured I would see if the servers were working better here. After a while of playing I said some OOC term and an admin ahelping me basically saying "Hey please don't use OOC language in IC." "Oh, and by the way, there are a few other accounts registered to your IP, whats your connection to them?" To which I replied "Yeah those are mine, but I'm not banned I just forgot the account passwords." to which he responded something along the lines of "really? cause both of those accounts are permanently banned." At that point he just kind of banned me. And that's it. I purposefully ban evaded once, accidentally ban evaded the second time because I forgot I ban evaded. If the moderators are wondering why my first account was banned it was probably because I greytided or something. I don't know it was my first byond account.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I'm going to be saying this as more of a justification of my first and second ban, which were most likely either greytiding, being a dick to the admins, or both. I have had a major change in the way I feel about admins and mods, which came from me being a mod on small discord servers and subreddits. It is really annoying when you volunteer to help a community, you see someone breaking the rules, you ask nicely "please don't do/say that, it isn't allowed here" and they respond by calling you an egotistical asshole who needs to get off of his high horse. It is a point of view I didn't take into consideration before and I feel bad about the whole thing. I shouldn't have been a dick in ahelps and I probably shouldn't have been doing something ahelp-worthy in the first place. In conclusion I've grown to respect volunteer staff members more than I did before.
References of good conduct: I just started playing SS13 again, only gotten a few rounds in, haven't exactly helped the community a lot. Sorry I got nothing to put here.
