Didn't surprise me at all they were made an admin or that they're doing a great job with it. They put in a ton of time on Manuel, is really knowledgeable about the game, and works with players well in tickets. Cool dude.

I once antag-rolled before I knew what the term was and instead of giving me a note or banning me, had an honest conversation with me and didn't push it. I come from a long line of servers across different mediums (from SS13 to GMod to whatever else you can name) where the go-to is to just ban first and ask questions later. If I had to name an someone who changed my views on RP admins (and SS13 admins, having only experienced admins from SS14, which are really rough) it would be Melbert. I really appreciate the show of kindness and empathy unlike any other admin I had seen thus far.

Melbert is really polite and helpful in ahelps, and has a pretty good sense of humour to go with it.

Melbert spawned some really funny custom mobs in a shift. They were pale, fucked-up "kiwis" from
that one video, and Melbert made the mob do that shrill scream when it pecked you or died. I appreciate when admins do custom creatures with pngs and that one was especially funny because of the sounds it made lol
