Playing without a thermometer is such an incredibly different game. "I think the ghost is here???" vs "Ghost room."

Once you have the thermometer it feels like easy money all the time.

I once encountered a ghost that gave off barely any cold and wandered a lot
It was the school and it took ages to pin down the exact room. We actually used motion and sound sensors on that one. Different experience. Though I imagine on a place with less hiding spots like farmhouse it would be impossible to do anything if you get that and an aggressive one
