We learned about this a bit in Catholic school. All I remember is the guy nailed his 100 commandments to a church and Lutheran monks had their hair cut like a headband.

Careful, Panda. Sounds like you're intentionally seeking to demean people based on their religion there.

Martin Luther was a horrible, horrible antisemite. No not just "it was the times"
He was a very active proponent of persecuting jews and his great influence convinced several leaders at the time to take action against them.

You and I have very different conceptions of what this board is supposed to be.
This is the type of thread I like to make.

Considering there are modern day protestants in the US government enacting foreign policy based on what will bring about the actual apocalyptic rapture I'm gonna say nothing really got better
Also Luther was a mad fucking jewhater and wanted to stone german peasants to death for daring to question authority he was not based at all

shut up veggie, this man just wanted to grill for god's sake, and the catholics kept stealing his money by making him pay them for his sins of the week. Also he really liked the bible, so he translated it that everyone could also understand what they're looking at. If translating the scriptum of god himself isn't based, then nothing is.
