Remove round start Plasma in atmos, instead, if someone wanted to plasma flood, they'd have to turn solid plasma down into a gaseous form and fill up chambers in atmos, or even just use the plasma containers that toxins have. Why? Screw plasma flooding, that's why, it's so easy and so destructive, the moment it's done, the round is over, and if you're looking to murder the station? There's no reason not to do it.
AI may need a buff if it happened.

Remove round start Supermatter in engineering, instead, if someone wanted to delaminate, they'd have to turn thousands of credits into a cargo order and place it in their chamber in engineering, or even just steal the credits that science has. Why? Screw delaminating, that's why, it's so easy and so destructive, the moment it's done, the round is over, and if you're looking to murder the station? There's no reason not to do it.

I know you're being sarcy
But what does Plasma atmos round start add? Also I see more traitors plasma flooding than delamming.

It's used to run the turbine engine for fusion.

This sounds like an administrative issue.

Administration doesn't want to deal with it, kick it back to the coders.

honestly just give an alternative to turbine, or wager whether or not turbine is entirely important in a round that it needs to be obtainable round start
plasma-flooding is ridiculous, and if you have a malf AI, malf engie, or 10 mins in shift when everyone has AA, it's bound to happen.

You would be adding 30 minutes to atmos techs autism projects, this will never happen.

Trit reaction needs plasma, fusion reaction needs trit and h2 from h2o from trit fires or plasma fires, the complex and fun bit of atmos is locked behind having plasma.
You can in fact fix a plasma flood if you're fast enough, so it's not an insta loose either.

We're a plasma research station, plasma is nice.

you could make it so unless upgraded, the stations baseline piping system is slow and inefficient as fuck, with built in redundancies to be disabled if someone wanted to successfully plasmaflood. So someone who wanted to do it would have to be smarter that turning on two pumps and walking away. Thats a bit of a mapping challenge though, and not exactly trivial

Fixing a plasmaflood is suprisingly easy. Even if the pipes are already jam packed with plasma, you can add a filter and a passive vent in space connected to a looping part and just filter out all the plasma. Removing plasma roundstart will not only remove an excellent traitor tactic, it will also make atmos borderline unplayable.

yeah its more about being preemptive. yeah its easy to fix in theory, but if theres a squad of nukies camping it for even a couple minutes, or a gang holed up there, things become less easy. Just saying its possible.
