It's harder for me to think of an RD that I actually like

The "problem" with the RD is, you're everyone's boss
So you can hog any computer. Take powers from genetics. Tell robotics what to build.
It's not like Laissez faire captains who never talk to you

It was the person X who kept maining RD on bagil, his gameplay loop was;
Make mech, walk in hallways, someone punches mech, kill the guy who punched your mech.
Jeremy something or another. He was absolute dent and literally sold bombs to traitors and whatnot.
I think his loop included batoning people to braintrauma for wasting research points anything not mechs.
He finally met his end at the hands of admins when he bombed captain and himself on the bridge cus he got too salty he wasn't the captain, or something.

Funny guy to observe, cancer to his fellow crew and everyone around him.

i had to ban one dude for nuggeting someone through surgery (literally went through the amputation surgery 4 times) for researching nanites first because he literally could not comprehend "could you please not immediately nugget them for that" and kept bitching about admins having it out for him. don't even remember his name

To be fair, when nanites were less useful then they are now and were apart of the same tree that regular RND was.

Researching them was a noob trap that made the time-gate take longer to get through.

She used to try to kill and space the HoS John Irish every other round on old Terry as non-antag. Also joined on an alt with a nearly identical appearance just to flamethrower grief the shuttle while denying it was her doing it.

She was simultaneously the most aggressive player who would beat you to shit for little to no reason but at the same time she instantly yelled that she was being killed if someone even shoved her.

Female autism personified but one of the funniest players on old Terry for sure.
