Detailed summary:
The moth known as Lumiere had previously accused an assistant of bombing hopline. When I as a security officer had a roboticist put the brain in an MMI, the Assistant said Lumiere had tricked them into bombing the line by opening a box with a bomb in it. Lumiere then began running and being very sketchy around members of security for the next 15-20 minutes, constantly running away and slipping them when pursued.

I knew I was dealing with someone robust enough to use slips and a moth, therefore I went and gathered as many flashbangs as I could to pursue. Once in pursuit, eventually they pulled out a dual esword and tried attacking with it. As soon as that dual esword was drawn, I knew if I went down, I was dead, therefore when I connected with a flashbang, I harmbatoned them to death, knowing they still could have explosives or other dangers.

Mid beatdown, they said "You fucking retard" and so naturally when they died and a search revealed noslips, a dual esword and a spraybottle, I couldn't help but respond "Out fucking powergamed."

This is where things started to go bad. As soon as they died, not only did they readmin and check my individual player panel twice.

Had they left it at that I wouldn't have noticed, I honestly thought I had stupidly thrown the body at myself looking for the contraband they had, however after another player check,

I couldn't find how to show I was hit by a rod, but here are logs of me going from full hp searching the body to being treated by a medbay player shortly after the rod was thrown. The coords for where the rod was thrown (Aft Maintenance (145, 103, 2)) match mine from where I was stripping the body (Aft Maintenance (145, 104, 2)).

They then tried to play it off as an "admin event" of a looping immovable rod after they realized that they hit multiple other players with it.

Unfortunately, it cut a path straight through medbay and the bar, two of the most busy areas of manuel and was a constant deathtrap, hitting multiple players throughout the round.

As a final "fuck you", they deleted their body trying to deny any remaining syndie loot (their noslips)

Everything mentioned here is 100% true and I'm really sorry for messing around with you and disrupting the round. Had a pretty bad day before this happened but it doesn't excuse what I did here. I'm willing to take punishments and I'll give you an antag token for the huge inconvenience if thats what it takes.

No matter how upset you are about the events of a round, it is never acceptable to abuse your admin tools to get back at players. While Thrax has admitted fault in this incident, this does not excuse their actions.
They were clearly malicious in nature, with the intent of ruining the round of another player; and in doing so adversely affected the round for multiple players.
Administrators have the responsibility to use their tools to make the game more enjoyable for others; not as tools for petty revenge because they got robusted.

We are extremely disappointed in Thrax’s behavior and have decided to issue him a week ban, and have demoted him to Trial Admin.
Going forward we hope this will remain a single isolated incident as any further abuse will result in an immediate deadminning.
