Howdy. I'm going to be making one response for the both of your appeals.

Rule 2 states:
Do not use information gained outside of in character means.
I.e.. metagaming. This especially refers to communication between players outside of the game via things like Skype, known as metacomms. Characters are otherwise allowed to know everything about ingame mechanics or antagonists, as well as keep persistent friendships or relationships with other characters when not for the purpose of unfair advantage by teaming up together for little IC reason.

Your elaborate coordination with each other, despite less than a handful of words exchanged between the two of you made it painfully obvious that you two were in cahoots, which, to the credit of both of you, you did not deny when confronted.
I'm inclined to believe you that you weren't communicating with each other to the detriment of the crew, and that you were planning on leaving the station to go on your own adventures in space.

We take a hardline against meta-communication because it subverts the in game means of communication and gives players who use it an unfair advantage.
I appreciate that you've been up front about this, and will be reducing this to a month ban, however if this comes up again it will result in a permanent one.
