What does it mean to be an assistant?

Assistant is the most popular job, and means a lot of things to different people. I want people to post about what being an assistant means to them, starting with myself


I always thought of SS13 in wrestling terms often, and it always seemed like the assistant was the proverbial jobber.
A superstar wizard or nuke op could take down a dozen of them hypothetically. In reality, the faceless jobber is that because he optimized his build for that.
I am just waiting for a bald robust assistant who calls himself Steve Austin to yell "If y'all here on delta quadrant 13 want me to kick this whiney wizard ass give me a hell yeah" and the station to yell out "hell yeah" and Austin to knock wiz out with a stone cold stun(ner)prod and get that sweet 3 count choke lock

assistant is a nice break from playing an actual job because you can go do whatever and that means you can chillax, autism, and do whatever the fuck you have in mind
