I think its time to admit the player base between both Sybil and Basil is needlessly split.

I say merge Sybil and Basil and keep it on classic games (All rotations, including dynamic). Keep it "old ruleset" (i.e. whats now being totted as LRP or whatever). Hell maybe we could make it classic rules or something?

Then add a new EU server for MRP (I suggest Polly as a name to keep with the theme, but it can be named whatever). Thus giving a distribution to the Manuel pop and better pings for those of us not cursed blessed with being from freedomland.


And no before you ask we wouldn't need to "loose" another EU server. The physical Terry server supports both Terry and EU events hall and from what MSO was saying would easily support a 3rd.
I only suggest combining Sybil/basil as their play pops have been unnecessarily spread given then lack of difference between the servers.

There is a big difference between Sybil and Bagil pop. Its the reason I have solely played on Sybil for the entirety of my time on TG. I would rather deadpop than the two being merged. Players will eventually come back from Manuel

Sybil deserves to be MRP. Make Manuel MRP EU.

All jokes aside, going with the occasional alt. name "Sigil" would be pretty thematic for a traditional games station if they've really gotta merge.

At that point your just renaming a new server to be called Sybil though... Given your changing the server location and ruleset.
Or your moving Manuel to EU, which I don't think a sever's ever moved continent once named (because people are generally only smart enough to read the name and not what follows)

This is a really nice idea, it would solve the Manuel pop problem too

Isn't it a bit early to make the call about expanding MRP? Dynamic stayed on Terry for what, a year? before the administration had enough elements to discuss its expansion to other servers. How long has manuel been up? There's still an artificial scarcity effect that draws people to manuel, opening another server may cause the collapse of both populations.

It hasn't been the case for months and months, like seriously over half a year, I wonder if the people claiming otherwise have actually touched the game in that long.
Sybil is just about dead as a doornail and the bulk of the regulars have moved on to Manuel. I think the answer to this question should be "what's best for the community" and not what serves your sense of nostalgia most effectively.

Dynamic wasn't made even a year ago? And it started as a "perma" thing on Terry entirely unintentionally (I was turned to dynamic purely for testing when TCEO was on and the often was left that way). It was only officially made perma Dynamic midway through October last year (2019/10/12 according to discord announcements).

I agree it hasn't even been a month for Manuel, but its always full in peak hours and before the cap was lowered from 70 to 50 it was also consitantly full. So there is at LEAST a 20 pop that could make use of a second MRP server.

Perhaps it was a mistake to combine two questions into one. I'll go ahead and split these topics.
