Hi there, I am your banning admin.
Some excerpts from the logs that I think will be useful:
Your Character was Isaac Clark
Seroza/(Isaac Clark)
You were a Specialist and as I remember part of Bravo Squad
MANIFEST: Successfuly assigned marine role to a squad. Player: Seroza Rank: Squad Specialist
I did notice that there was indeed another spec that seems to have gotten drunk. I assume this happening roughly 6 times in a period of 12 seconds to be someone trying to drink a beaker of Booze
[2019-06-23 21:37:00.608] ATTACK: (Spec not Seroza) has attacked Spec not Seroza with [large beaker] (INTENT: HELP) (DAMTYE: BRUTE) (NEWHP: 100) Lounge (120, 42, 3)
That spec a few minutes later, confirming my suspicion:
[2019-06-23 21:42:45.712] TCOMMS: (Spec not Seroza) [Common] (spans: ) "CHuMEonE tAke Me TO MEdBahy i 'COMP'LETELY FUCkeD" (language: Galactic Common) Hallway Port (154, 52, 3)
They did however cryo themselves:
[2019-06-23 21:48:16.138] SAY: (Spec not Seroza) "I'm too fucking drunk to do this shit.." Hallway Port (135, 50, 3)
[2019-06-23 21:48:56.591] GAME: (Spec not Seroza) has entered a stasis pod.
I assume you went to the lounge like they did for the booze:
[2019-06-23 21:44:35.528] EMOTE: Seroza/(Isaac Clark) calls for a medic! Lounge (117, 46, 3)
Called drunk by a fellow marine:
[2019-06-23 21:49:54.044] SAY: (Player) "and gave the other one to bravo SL" Dropship Alamo
[2019-06-23 21:50:06.916] SAY: (Player) "the one currently blacked out" Dropship Alamo
[2019-06-23 21:50:09.405] SAY: (Player) "and drunk" Dropship Alamo
Being Treated by a Medic
[2019-06-23 21:48:23.266] SAY: (Corpsman) "Your liver might die before I even save it" Dropship Alamo (88, 61, 3)
[2019-06-23 21:51:09.034] ATTACK: (Corpsman) has fed Seroza/(Isaac Clark) with [pill] Reagents: dylovene(15u) (NEWHP: 95.2) Dropship Alamo (238, 124, 2)
[2019-06-23 21:51:13.583] ATTACK: (Corpsman) has fed Seroza/(Isaac Clark) with [pill] Reagents: peridaxon(10u) (NEWHP: 96.8) Dropship Alamo (238, 124, 2)
Your side of the story:
It does look like your side of the story is mostly true, which is good. I would like to emphasize a few things though, primarily that the other specialists realized that they were not in a state to be useful with their drunkenness and cryoed themselves. I'm not suggesting that this is what you should do but it does show, if not inadvertently, an understanding that their state will effect their role performance. Personally if I was in this situation I would ask a doctor to purge me of alcohol and autodoc my organs back to full health. It appears as you never requested this and were only treated by a medic that was on the Alamo with you.
That is where I first noticed you an PMd you about your current state.
To your reasoning for being unbanned:
I always got myself drunk and never really was told of it until now.I really enjoy playing as a specialist,i promise to stop that behaviour on command roles.
First of all, just because you have been behaving a certain way for some time and have not been told off about it does not mean it is acceptable behavior. Admins do have a lot of tools that help us but we are not omniscient. With regards to the behavior, IC that is just not what a marine would do, especially not a SSGT like you were. This breaks Rule 3 on RP standards and breaks Rule 5, as I stated in the ban, with regards to again a higher standard of behavior for limited roles as in Precedent 8. Additionally you disconnected before we could finish talking and close the conversation.
Honestly looking through the logs for this have made me wish that I had gone with a server ban and not just a role ban. I will be modifying the note associated with the ban to reflect my change in opinion from when the ban was placed. Looking at the Notes, you have received 2 final warnings. The first of which I was a part of. I was hoping that you would change your behavior but evidently that has not happened.
I am
Denying this appeal.
Before appealing again:
I would suggest waiting at least a month (August 3rd) and that during that period you have not received any more negative notes before I would consider revisiting this ban.
