I got banned (temporarily) for using an acronym.

Byond account and character name:

Banning admin:

Your side of the story:
Walked into atmos with the room filled with N2O. Said "wtf is going on", got banned from the server.
Seems super dumb how using an acronym is considered A) OOC, and B) an immediate ban.
Didn't get any warning or anything, just a ban. Seems a little lame/extreme, especially when I report others for literally murderboning people and I get an admin responding with a "well he's not doing it anymore!", and reporting someone for dropping the N bomb everywhere and get a "haha yea what a chad!".

Why you think you should be unbanned:
It's a 5 min ban so I'm already unbanned. Just want to point out how dumb this actually is, obviously everyone who is using the acronyms RPD/RPED/AI also need to be banned, so I'm not sure how this rule is supported by the community.

You broke rule 3 by saying wtf. I decided to apply a five-minute server ban.

The note is correct, and it isn't unfair or too hard on you so...

Edit: I also forgot to add that everyone got warned with an admin notice when I arrived that punishments regarding OOC in IC would be applied immediately.

Netspeak is not allowed. Netspeak is using online acronyms as if you were playing a game.
We do not enforce roleplay on /tg/ besides the bare minimum of you pretending you’re not playing a game on the Internet.
If you cannot do that, this server is not for you. There is nothing wrong with this ban.
