Another game I found thanks to the game mentioned in this thread, is Engame:Singularity, about an AI born on a University computer and you have to learn all about the world, buy server access and stuff to use CPU cycles.

Having just completed said game, I can recommend it.
(Free, just runs on Python and Pygame)

Holy shit thanks for mentioning this. I'm playing it now. Great game. Also I love that its made on python. I have been struggling to make a basic physics engine with python for a while now, but this gives me hope.

I just beat singularity on normal difficulty. Turns out that after one figures out everything about the universe there is to figure out, life is pretty uneventful.

AMFV would be better without the AND THIS IS WHY REAGEN IS RUINING AMERICA
