After the whole "someone is metagrudging me because I have more medals than them", it seems like they faded from existence.

What makes matters worse is that the feature doesn't have any indication of it's existence within the game. There's no feedback say "you won a medal!", no sound played, nothing. I'm willing to bet most players don't even know it exists.

I'm putting this here because as of right now the feature hardly exists and sucks in it's current iteration. The github issue equivalent is here.

I think there is some notification, dunno if it's in game or from the byond client, I'm pretty sure something popped up when I got my first medal.
