Hand teleporters

Right so, a newish (in the months that I wasn't playing) feature of hand teleporters is that they teleport you when you use them and spawn the portal after woulds, instead of spawning a portal to go through.

I understand that it makes them easier to use but its harder to take people through them with you.

It's so you don't make a portal into space or the derelict and feed bodies into said portal gg no re.

I believe the original intent was so that you could use it as a means of escaping a location where you could not move to enter the portal.

Why not just make them work like worm holes? Where clicking on them teleports you.

Yeah it is actually genuinely annoying when you're trying to move shit/crit people, but you can no longer push/throw them into the portal before going in yourself.

Now that you mention it I would like the old more robust hand teleporter as well, myself.

Does it work if you activate the teleporter while standing on top of the crit person?

Maybe we can let you hit things with the hand tele, with a delay to 'precisely triangulate bullshit' the objects location and send it, opening a portal in the process as well to the location?
The new method though sucks because of such listed: being unable to recover lockers or corpses with it due to how new portals are made. Regarding the 'op' nature of why this was brought about I instead say those running in the hall should've been paying more attention. Or maybe just not running everywhere.

I'd like it if it created the portal instead of instantly shunting you, purely so as a HoS I could make a portal to instantly drop people in the brig/perma.
