If you love something, you fight to make it better.

Slime 918 loved Nanotrasen. He only wanted to make the station a better place. In the court of Space Law, he fought against a bigoted brutish officer who demeaned his kind, slew his kin, and violently dismembered him. With the help of the lawyer, Jack Walters, he sought to bring the ruffian to account. Little did he know that the deck was stacked against him with a biased judge and no jury of his peers.

Slime 918 starved in the courtroom, denied food while fighting for the rights of sentient slimes everywhere. An attempt was made on Jack's life, and he was later arrested on trumped up charges. He mutated during a radiation storm in the brig, but escaped the station and continues to fight for sentient slime rights to this very day.

Slime 918 wouldn't want us to moisten our exterior membranes. He wants us to dream of a day where sentients are judged not by the material consistency their tissues, but the content of their character.

imagine slime rights in the brig.

they're likely dead now, still in jail, or you could say that the round restart killed him.

Slime 918 actually died in the courtroom. He starved to death just as his sentence has being given by the judge.
It's sad really. He was born in the brig due to a pyroclastic anomaly. The world decided he was a criminal before he even made his first blorble.
