it hasn't been three days and goty 2018 is already here

It is unironically fucking good.
Here are the features you are in for:
>40 players per match
>around 8 unique roles, each one with their own objective
>some have inventory, others (like the dispatcher) play from a GUI while issuing directions to other players
>fully interactive environment
>gameplay involves fire, players can set the fire alarm
>a functional elevator with 26 floors and simulated wait time
>body located damage (leg, foot, arm, hand, shoulder, lower torso, hip, head, neck, upper torso)
>you can get incapacitated instead of simply killed, and other players can save you
>shooting someone's leg makes them look injured and walk slower
>fire intoxication mechanic
>some players can help others evacuate
>NPCS to simulate students, which will interact to players that reveal weapons regardless of these being the school shooter or the law enforcement
>able to carry incapacitated people
>AK-47, 9mm and Pipe Bomb for suspect
>M16, Shotgun and 9mm for law enforcement
>vehicles ranging from ambulances to police cars to fire trucks
>the doctors have a bunch of mechanics and mingames that simulate triage and medical assistance they need to go through to save other players, including diagnosing the problem

tl;dr: Homeland security makes a voice-mandatory 40 player school shooting simulator with weirdly in-depth mechanics such as roles (you can be the teacher, the student, the police, the dispatcher, a student, a civilian, the shooter, a firefighter, idk if I got them all) that can play like a whodunnit, as there's no indication which of the students is the shooter. Looks like a really fun game

It's currently not available to the public, downloads are only available at the moment for firefighters and shit. We're waiting on the leak/crack which will inevitably happen

i'd imagine they wouldn't want this public specifically because of the "video games train shooters" meme because this is pretty explicitly allowing one person to simulate what would and would not work in a school shooting situation

that being said it'd still be cool to actually see what this is like in game, i have a morbid curiosity for training things like this

Yeah they do. Some need to be big and tough to penetrate bone such as to remove bone marrow. Some epinephrine syringes need to penetrate the ribcage to be injected right into the heart for maximum effect.

Oh and there's also the lumbar puncture needle which needs to penetrate your spinal column whose needle tip is as long as my hand.

This needle goes into your spine to drain a small amount of cerebrospinal fluid

Two epinephrine syringes, the one on the right is the one I mentioned earlier.

This needle is used to remove bone marrow, it's extremely painful if used without anaesthetic

What I posted are peripheral IVs. Needle is really just there to penetrate and guide the catheter into the vein. Larger gauges are generally not used in most cases as you go with what is needed for the job. A 14G would be used in trauma patients where you need blood transfusions. More commonly, 20G is used for the general purpose as most people don't need a large bore IV for fluids. If they do then they're likely not in the greatest condition anywho.

The needles you get blood work with generally are 21 or 22G, so they're small.

In the end they just jabbed the tip of my finger and told me to bleed in a cup for a bit
