Add a button to ghost tab that will enable your body to be cloned even when not in your body, default on. Disabled for catatonic ghosted players and all the usual rules.

This way ghosts don't have to stare at the same screen while they wait to be cloned/scanned and geneticists don't have to retry the same corpse a dozen times waiting for ghost to return.

Having it on will also make morgue display green lights as usual.

But wouldnt catonic players just ghost when alive

I think the sound that plays when your body is ready for cloning is good enough.

I am not against the idea though.

I support it. Having to hammer the scan button half a dozen times as geneticist is annoying. It'd be nicer to know right off if you're wasting your time or not.

There is a clone me button.

It's called "return to body".

I'd rather just have something pop-up on screen when you can be cloned that you can click on to return to body. Also change the cloning scanner's message for the geneticist saying "Oh yeah this one still has a non-AFK ghost, give it a second" basically.

It'd be easy to add an href link to the message that simply fires the re-enter-corpse verb
