and the first thing that comes to mind is this

App doesn't even work that well at removing makeup. It just takes the face and makes it less attractive-looking. Which... I mean of course that's going to be accurate, the whole point of makeup is that it looks nice? I have to question the sample selection methods of the survey associated with this "news" saying most men think women wear makeup to "trick" them.

update: The survey respondents were self-selected among visitors to YouGov and people who saw the question elsewhere and decided to respond. Given that people who think women are tricking them somehow are much more likely to hold that view strongly, and therefore respond... yeah, i'm gonna go ahead and call it bad data.
