Banned from OOC - After being banned for this previously, continued talking about another player's ERP logs and other shit in OOC. Don't stalk people.

Your side of the story: OOC's normally a pretty rowdy place, but I got a little two rowdy by discussing a little bit of up-to-date lizard drama (some lizard having a f-list) from singulo, 'cause I wanted something for OOC to talk about. Turns out, I get banned for it. Not that bad, but then again, this is Bee, who I'm not exactly on good terms with. Don't think many people were really that offended about it. 'Sides, Singulo's a deserted place anyway, so even if I wanted to talk about it there, precisely dick would respond.
Why you think you should be unbanned: Want to do passive agressive memeing around in deadchat again. Promise not to do this kind of crossing the line drama speech again, thanks.

Unless someone else would like to overrule, denied. The fact that I'm "not on good terms with you" is irrelevant to this ban. Talking about other players' personal lives such as their f-list is creepy as hell and stalkery. Keep what happens on singulo in singulo and out of OOC. I probably would've warned/muted you if not for the fact that you got banned for the exact same thing less than two weeks ago, with the exact same player I'm speaking of.

I'm not sure what was said and I'm too lazy to look but given that the forums directly link to singulo it does seem a bit unfair for admins to imply the division between tg and singulo is completely absolute.

I was mainly saying that for viewers at home, as I don't want them to think they have to double check mediums of the community before bringing X up in lighthearted ooc conversations because X was said/shown in singulo but not say the forums.

I do not have an opinion on the ban itself, but I feel like that clarification for others (like say robustin who will directly quote rulings from other appeals) was necessary

How difficult or not outside outside information was to find sounds like an ugly area to get into rules wise, easier to just say "don't drag peoples outside lives into OOC for laughs" as a blanket rule.

I don't care if people talk about stuff from singulo but some of the stuff on there shouldn't be talked on the game servers IMO. Such as stalking another player and then talking about their ERP logs/f-list in OOC to stir shit. Nobody had brought up the subject and noone was responding to him, he was just doing it in an attempt to cause drama. (and it didn't even work)

I would be pretty angry if someone went out and dug up my personal life the posted it in a game away from said personal life for everyone to see, laugh at, and make an example out of me for.

It's like the online equivalent of dox. People aren't playing ss13 to be judged on their life by a community of assholes

We offer a lot of slack with regards to just straight up being a fucking asshole to your fellow players in OOC because 90% of our rules and policies refer specifically to ingame stuff but this pretty much sums my thoughts up on it.

It's insanely shitty, purely malicious garbage. Another player banned for the same thing straight up told me he was trying to shame people off the server. It's fucking nonsense and I'm sick of seeing it.

Don't try to internet detective/e-stalk/dox other players. Don't go around googling their porn accounts or their insane fetish commissions or their ERP profiles so you can parade them in OOC to shame them or whatever.

It's being a dick. It's against the rules. OP and every other funnyguy highschool redditor needs to fuck off and cut this shit out.

While nothing else needs to be said about the substance of this behavior because sawrge et al already summed it up, OP, if i'd seen you doing this, especially after having been talked to about it before, you would've copped more than an OOC ban.

Yakumo, Sawrge, and feem all summed up my feelings on the matter fairly well. It shouldn't even be a question of whether this is a policy IMO, this is a blatant rule one violation which I believe says it's okay to be a dick to a point ICly, but don't do it OOCly.

If they do weird shit IN GAME (like erping) can we ridicule them for it since they did it on the server

if they're doing it in front of you then yeah absolutely
