Lizard cloning rework

Lizards should not be clonable in the regular cloner. Instead there should be an egg-making machine that makes lizard eggs and you scan the lizards DNA and inject it in the egg and incubate it. If you steal the egg you can also incubate it with a space heater or a plasma fire. Instesd of popping out normal, first the lizards legs pop out making him an egg with leg (legg in scientific terms) letting him run around but not see clearly or use his hands. You can help a lizard fully free himself from his shell by bashimg him with objects, or the lizard can run into airlocks over and over until the shell breaks. The chef can make Lizard eggs into Giga Ligga Omelets. If the egg if already fertilized with a cloning lizard it is a Bloody Giga Ligga Omelet which is worth more nutritonwise and the syndies love them.

Marvelous idea, also, this device should not be available round start, it should be built by science.

The scalefiend metacommer's egg den is revealed and they'll try to claim they ERP'd the lot.

Does this imply that flypeople too can have infancy stages where they are essentially oversized corpse maggots like headslugs finding somewhere to nest before bursting in a shower of gibs?

No

Its about as unnecessarily degenerate as the original idea for alternative drawn out lifecycles when instead cloning just takes apart and puts back together anything remotely organic.

Maybe a mechanical ash walker tendril that requires you to feed it the old lizard corpse for it to gib it and gain the DNA that way.

Crab are you ok

I've noticed a heavy decline in the quality of your ideas.

Do you need to go to the doctor Crab

Good idea. Make lizards unable to be plant peopled. Inject a chicken egg with the lizard blood and it hatches into a new lizard after time.

That is honestly the best execution of the OP's idea yet that isn't needlessly complicated but still sort of reliant on the egg resource (which can be found in 'egg-plants' and chickens fed with wheat')

But keep the part with the legg lizard running around like a madman until someone breaks the eggshell off because that's E M E R G E N T G A M E P L A Y enabling

because you can stab people with lizard eggshells, by all logic

you're taking emergent gameplay too literally. Its beyond a yoke at this stage.

So are downstream servers without mutantraces enabled just going to have useless machines sitting around?

When you piss in a river do you care about the bear three miles down having a drink?

Yes because it'll smell you upwind and rip your intestines out because it can run 30mph to your location. Besides the point its a valid concern, else we just keep the basic chicken egg fertilization method.

How about you dunk your head in some radioactive waste in the hopes you evolve a mammalian brain you bipedal cockroach. That's also not how bears work dummy.
EDIT - Fuck it i dont have to give you a response, fuck you.

Back onto civilised discussion, really sheesh.

i guess we could just add a hologram of MR.DNA for the AI to use or a poster explaining it or something, scientists already look pretty legit. We did have raptors at one point (goof-farm, though they were actually chocobos) so maybe radiate some lizard person fertilised eggs for a "accidental" overflow of dinosaurs, Dino Crisis 3 style.

They can just remove the machines or not take the PR in the first place

I like the part about egg with leg, that alone makes me want this a lot
