But by all appearances that's what it is. The meta is all over the place but cards are super easy to get, the rules and effects are straight forward. Each faction plays its own game instead of just being different colors of the same effects.

Now that I've confirmed what game yeah this is a really good card game of that style. I was pretty into it when it first got its English subs and had a metadeck. I think I actually played in a few VG tournies.

There's a dub but I've since removed it because holy shit some of those voices are awful. The patch was supposed to undo some of the censoring too but I haven't seen it.

Yeah when I started playing I remember having to do some funky shit with a patch to uncensor like one character and get rid of american cowboy voices

I might want to pick it up, I've watched a fair bit of it from veganlord and it seems fun

I got into it a week or two ago. At the start its super easy to get cards. You get like 20-30 packs just for finishing the tutorial, then there are a bunch of easy achievements and solo story missions to get more stuff for packs. You even get 3 daily quests every 21 hours which is usually 1 packs worth of gold. Daily log-in rewards too. Its really nice to F2Pers and casuals(like myself). Tried Gwent but got bored after playing a few dozen games.

If you intend to try Shadowverse, id highly recommend reading up on "rerolling". Basically its just deleting your appdata and starting a new account to get all the free & easy packs, doing it repeatedly until you get good meta cards/legendaries. EDIT: That reroll guide is a little outdated, so dont go crazy disenchanting/liquifying cards until you are more knowledgeable about the current meta.

The game is very anime. The card art is amazing, and all the follower cards have an evolved(evolving is a mechanic of follower/monster cards) form that usually looks even better. Tons of waifus if you like that kinda thing too.

I managed to make them all within a few days just so i can do the solo content easily and daily missions. You do not need to bother with the Neutral one. Of the decks, i found Sword and Blood to be the best. With Blood i cleared all the Elite AIs which gives you a lot of gold in achievements.

You need like 3.5 average arena wins to make a profit in it, as normally it costs 150 gold per entry. You always get 1 standard pack ticket even if you lose all 5 games.

Thats all i got~ Dont know much else other than Dragoncraft is the most expensive deck to run because it uses tons of legendaries in competitive decks, and Dragoncraft/Shadowcraft are currently the strongest classes so much so that the ranked ladder is crawling with them.

Dragon is 35k+ vial cost cancer right now because there are enough high power expensive fatties (Zeus, Bahamut, Hydra) + Zell that the ramp cycle is worth playing now. You can ramp yourself up to 9-10 + Rahab without much effort.

Shadow is ironically super strong right now for the opposite reason. You get tons of weenies that nobody can get rid of and then you drop one of the new legendaries to buff all of them and win.

Also Grimnir is cancer and goes in every deck in the game.

Yeah i have a shitty budget Dragon deck, and even with barely any cards/no legendaries i still do ok. The ramp cards are super cheap, and you can substitute the high-cost legendaries with some cheaper ones. Mostly you just need the x3 Zell/Grimnir because those two cards are strong as fuck.

Right now im just saving up my vials so i can make a Vengeance Bloodcraft deck with sneks. Seems like a fun deck.

If I see one more Havencraft asshole drop Aegis + Test of strength I might scream.

Yeah there are some funny frog decks. Well of Destiny>Front Lines every time.

I might want to put in frog cleric, if the enemy has aoe in theory they could take down your wonderful frogs.

Nobody plays dirt anymore. It probably still works but depending how the nerfs go you'll just get rushed down by a bahamut/israfil

Aggro Earth Rune is kinda increasing in popularity, but i have not seen any infinite ward decks. Most popular Runecraft decks seem to be Daria or D-Shift decks.

Its mostly Shadow/Dragon beating the shit out of everyone. Haven have Heavenly Aegis too which people like because its almost impossible to remove. Blood/Swordcraft will probably be played more now Shadow/Dragon got hit with nerfs.

Most people use Vania for Bloodcraft. Forest has that archer dude, Haven the Garuda bird guy used in Storm decks. Forgot who the other Sword leader is...
