The facial animations are janky as fuck and shitty 9/10 times as always for a Bioware game and there are odd design choices. They brought back the shitty, bouncy vehicle from ME1, the character creator sucks, dialogue choices have ZERO meaning. They also want people to bang aliens because the only option straight men have is an independent edgy woman with a dyke haircut. However, I'm having fun with it. Combat is the best out of all of them. Zipping around popping super powers is fun. The game as a whole reminds me a lot of Mass Effect 1.

Characterwise you have the edgy dyke human girl, female Garrus (possibly the only competent thing on your crew), a dumb hyper asari with big tits, a black guy who's actually a bro unlike that one from 2, a space shark guy, and an old krogan who calls you an idiot. I've only found female Garrus and the black guy to be interesting.

If you liked the combat from 3 you will enjoy 4. If you're looking for an RPG with decisions causing ANYTHING, it's not for you.

Multiplayer is also broken. Every single game I've joined except for 1 has been so laggy you can't do anything.

Flopped pretty hard, Bioware might as well just ship you a joke cock in a box at this point.

Mass Effect 2 was the last good game.

Mass Effect 2 was still okay, but even when I played it the first time I could feel that the franchise is moving in the direction I'm not going to like.

Combat is indeed it's best part. Much more fluid and mobile than any of the previous. Jumping and thrust booster evading gets cooky with objects though. A lot of the time I'll jump to a ledge and slide off or have my toe bump something while air dodging, which makes me get stuck trying to get over a knee high object.

I do not understand the reverence this series gets.

I liked 1 the most, it had pretty good story and interesting characters. 2 had no story, but had lots of fun side-quests, and Tali was best waifu. But 3 was just...nothing. I can't recall anything from 3, except shitty ending. And BigMcLargeHuge. And I guess they made that one guy gay.

I don't get how anyone would even remotely care about 4. I think there may be the Sonic-syndrome at play, where autists get worked up over alien colorful ripe for fetish exploitation characters.

Mass effect 1 was the best staring at woman's asses while riding an elevator simulator I ever played.

I pre-ordered at a discount after seeing the initial positive reviews from the trial and immediately afterwards all these videos come out.

I'm not canceling it, because now I want to experience this AAA title masterpiece as it is before damage control sets in.

according to wikipedia the project utilized three of bioware's studios as opposed to bioware montreal

I got mixed feelings about ME3. On one hand the gameplay seemed like the most solid of the original trilogy with kind of a nice middle ground between ME1's RPG focus and ME2's gunplay focus. On the other hand the story was fucking awful from the very start.

2 introduced some pretty cool characters that I wanted to learn a lot more about and tag along with a lot more, especially Legion. Shit, the ending for 2 seemed like it implied they'd be squadmates in the third game what with them all gearing up like they're ready for another huge fight and shit. Instead they all just kind of all fucked off and became minor characters who mostly died. Doesn't help that Garrus and Tali were the only good squadmates and the rest sucked.

They should have brought Wrex back as a permanent squad mate instead of introducing that spic with the mohawk
