therefore a good arrangement is elder god tier
the fact this song and the entire album is slept on even tho its made by nard & b (aka trenchwerk) shows how little people care about producers even tho they're as important as the actual rapper.
like i get it tho, zuse is not a well known rapper, even in atlanta where hes from, but nard & b have made multiple top 100 songs and if this album hadn't been suggested by spotify (s/o to discover weekly, you the real one).
if u like hip hop/rap make an effort to find out who produced what, remember those producer tags.

Listening to a pretty underground genre right now called "spazcatgirl retardcore". Yeah its all got the same umm time signature as caramelldansen. Pretty underground stuff.
I've been re-listening to Mac's discography for like the 100th time and the musical maturation (not the term im looking for but whatever) never ceases to amaze me. Idk if I even originally liked his music or just made myself like it because I liked the idea of him. Progressing from sleepy weed rap of KIDS (decent) to the frat rap of blue side park (bad) to the psychedelic rap of movies with the sound off and macadelic (decent and good) to the depressing drugged out rap of faces (certain parts are excellent) to the icy production and cleanness of Good am (good) to the jazz rap of divine feminine (good) and finally to his sleepy sort of self acceptance / weary of it all rap of swimming. The saddest part about this death is the fact that we never got to see where his evolution took him, he never even made it to the 27 club.
In the same genre ive been relistening to earl sweatshirt for the 80th time and I can't get over how good some rap songs is and his unreleased stuff like Hatrick.
I like a ton of artists in rap but these two are the sort of odd ducks that i really really enjoy.
