I went on to become a sailor on this huge ass ship and I was gonna show my sailor buddies SS13 so I downloaded it and it turned out to be a li**er transvestite porn flash. I was like, wtf guys, haha. Then a few hours later there was a work meeting where every sailor was along with the captain, and when it ended this one li**er got up and very pointedly said something about li**er transvestite porn lover looking right at me. Anxiety sucks
But at least you're not as anxious as this one person I know. They're really anxious to the point that they avoid any and all social contact for several days if they say something that seems normal but they personally thought was strange, and then it usually only takes a few days for their next anxiety attack

Also sucks: Lack of sleep. Slept 3 hours, laid in bed 3 hours after trying to get back to sleep

We had 'VR' headsets developed about 15 years before they hit the market. So if that's the point of reference it won't be any time soon
However, these could work as an extra thing to use while wearing one of those headsets so we already have proven that there is a market for the things. So maybe it will be earlier than 2035

I've got a few tips for an informal face to face.

If you feel nervous, hold onto one of your thumbs between your index and other thumb and cross your ankles beneath the table. It'll keep you from fidgeting.
Try to copy their movements and facial expressions but make sure you delay it by a good few seconds so it's not obvious, imitation is flattery but mimicry is annoying.
Make eye contact, but don't stare, let your gaze move around every now and then. If eye contact is hard, look at their forehead instead, they can't tell the difference.
Also, smile appropriately - Too much smile is either creepy or makes you look dumb. Lack of smiling makes you look like a nerd and nobody likes nerds.

I've noticed that search engines are getting a little too accurate with their predictions. I wanted to look up someone obscure after watching a video on them, typed two letters of their name and google had their name as the top suggestion.
