This was even more relevant for a couple months when Robustin would use his special OOC admin text to stand out while giving a 10-15 minute lecture on why the player was garbage if they lost the round.

EDIT: I realize it's easier to just say "stop doing that you shitters" but I think people respond way better to positive reinforcement than deterrents, so taking the extra effort to understand why someone is doing something, and then provide them with a more attractive alternative is the best long term option of dealing with issues the thread brings up.

Now, we could do with a larger spear-sized version that functions similar. Except you stun the person you throw it at with a higher % than throwing a stun baton yet has fuckall brute force given it's just a long metal rod with a shocked tip.

Pointless. Greyshirts will find another way to break in. Disposal re-routing is one of the more interesting ways in. Stealing the hand tele before the RD can get to it, then using the random function to chance a way in is another strategy. If there is a way in, they Grey Tide WILL find it.

Nah, I believe teleprods are fine. The difference between teleprod and stunprod is that the teleprod is harder to make (needs a bluespace crystal, so you've got to have ORM access) and it doesn't serve as simply a makeshift stunbaton. It also doesn't allow you to restrain someone at all - since they're teleported away from you. It's most often used to keep tresspassers out rather than to assault or stun someone.

So when it comes to mechanics, I think it's fine to allow teleprods to be stored in backpacks.
