This is what I'm waiting for:
If a slug person takes too much brute damage to the chest they die and split into two slug people. One is controlled by the original player, one is a ghost role. They each have only 50 health. these half slug men wouldn't split when killed like their parent.
Edit: That would mean the original slug man has effectively 150 health. Non-human races should have some significant penalty. Slug men should only have like 50 hp and when they split, only 25.

Ftl slug people would have built in thermals of sorts, capable of detecting sentient beings. Not sure we could balance a power like that

Could be possible. Keeping it truest to the game they would be able to see blips through walls and stuff like thermals, but not specifics. Something like the static people outlines that drones see. This is a really powerful ability to just get off the bat though, and i am not certain we could add a big enough negative to balance it without making them unplayable.
