I don't think people should be taken off the blacklist out of principle though. Gotta have at least one ban that means something.

This one has a very targeted and specific purpose. Also 2beard i don't think will ever be free. With good reason

The second to last time he was unbanned he pulled shit like beating a scientist to death for absolutely no reason and spaced the corpse. Last time he was unbanned Burer basically advocated for him being unbanned under the condition that he himself would take a perma if 2beard was banned again. He almost immediately created a new forum account after being unbanned trying to impersonate Burer. It was a stupid joke yeah, but he knew he was on thin ice and could get both Burer and himself banned if put even a toe out of line and he did it anyway. I'm not sure if he just has aspergers or something but I'm pretty sure the server's better off without him.

No it is still important. Tonto is probably a different story, but 2beard sounds like someone who's just terrible to be around and shouldn't be allowed back here.

I find it funny how:
a) Short this community's memory is and
b) How masochistic some people are.

We've done this 10 times already and it's never worked out. It won't be any different this time, no matter if it's tonto, terbs, 2beard or one of the more forgettable ones like 2yak.

At the end of the day it's hardly a big problem to reban someone LiamLime, it's not like they can do more than ruin a few rounds.

I believe the concern is more that this'll just keep happening again, which it has before.

It's so inconsequential it's like being upset that you keep stepping on cracked pavement.

There are some people who shouldn't be unbanned but a lot of people think Tonto isn't one of them.

Thats not really a great analogy. The pavement would have to bring you pleasure for each non cracked tile or something... I dunno.

The point is "Dicks" have the very easy and real ability to completely ruin the game and therefore peoples ability to enjoy the game. In the same way as script kiddies enjoy most peoples ability to enjoy CS:GO, sure they might only happen occasionally and they'll eventually be banned, but the fact that they keep coming back really starts to wear on your mind. Its the same reason we dish out any perma ban. If it was simply a case of "easily rebanning them when they screw up again" then surely temp bans for anyone ever would be absolutely fine?

I'm not sure "A lot of people" is really accurate. A few active and probably loud minority who are on the forums think so. The majority of regular players dont really use the forums, more so probably only have an account for ban appeals.
