I could probably setup and host a server for this tonight if people are in the mood to play again.
I played it once ages ago single player for only a few minutes of flopping around on the ground and trying to grab a ladder.

They added some stuff, like CPR, crit, and radios. But you know, the flopping is still there. I have a friend who can host too, but yeah.

Been re-familiarising myself with the game and what's new. There's a medical and chem system now and diving suits don't let you breathe from the air around you now.
Unfortunately, NPC AI is dumbfuck stupid and uses up all the O2 by constantly wearing diving suits and not refilling the canisters. There's also radio headsets now so I'm guessing you can't telepathically tell everyone where you are and what you're doing now.

Also if you ragdol yourself into a wall you get hurt
Radio headsets eat power really quickly, if it seems people went quiet, replace your power cell

Radio channel is r;
basically the opposite of SS13. Your headset runs on a battery too, but you can recharge batteries by putting them in the station batteries on the sub (basically SMES units)

That right there was the pretty much the two hour session in a nutshell.
That being said, 6-12 people on that Luxury Liner sub we found would be hilarious. I don't think it can maneuver in most of the tunnels though, and it's only got 3 front facing guns.

The lack of being able to maneuver is a real problem
It means we'd be stationairy, basically. Maybe one day when there's more open maps, but we'll have to stick with some slightly more efficient subs

For what its worth, those USN ships are incredibly well designed. Buttons labeled for everything, ship is fully stocked and then some, and the main firing guns are on the bridge with the Captain so you don't need radio contact to give someone a bad day, the general flow of it being that an assistant or smuck would be in the fore of the ship loading torpedoes railguns with C4 and putting them into the loader. Browsing about some of the smaller ships are actually kind of funny, with things like the Seabee and SDV being almost entirely battery powered and small enough to scoot about for recon and delviery missions, but they'd fail horribly against monster hunting.

I was making a custom sub resembling a U-boat
But ended up tossing it out because fuck wiring everything from nothing and hand spawning every single item to place manually in closets
The sub editor is a mess and lacks pretty much anything resembling finished tools
I expect this to change at some point, but as it is right now it's a lot of time investment and you might just break something halfway through
I was going to say it was named the U-boat. Named so because 'it is boat for U'. I might try again and make the thing some time, if I can be bothered

Count me in. Played around with single player and I really want to see how the game actually plays when you've got a full crew of players instead of two lifeless NPCs.
