I just want to add to point 4 that while I have witnessed some OC mutual masturbation it's nothing like what we used to see on Sybil2 back in the day. I have also yet to witness any metacliques which is surprising and I wonder if maybe I haven't been paying enough attention. Sybil2 had Austin, Napkin, Shinu and the metachat and also the whole Dante/Dalta murderbone compact and resulting orbiters. These are just two notable examples of what was in hindsight a constant cancer that we seem to lack nowadays.
