Florida is where we fire most of our stuff into space but aside from military satellites it's not a critical target

Conservatives ended up getting 37% of the vote, split between Salvini ("the Italian Trump") and Berlusconi

5 stars movement (national populists) got 31%

Social democrats got 23%

No one has enough votes to rule on his own. So what will happen? Most likely scenario: conservatives form a government with those SocDems who are willing to jump ship (there will be a lot of them, the ship is sinking)

Less likely scenario: national populists try to form a government with Salvini (may not be enough to reach majority) or SocDems (very unlikely)

I thought 5 Stars were less "national populists" and more "literal comedians".

the only literal comedian is the party founder, Grillo, who has distanced himself from the party in the last few months and went into seclusion. He will probably come back now that the election is over and the outcome looks good.

The party is as national populist as it gets, they are euroskeptics, want (or wanted? they change idea so often) to go back to the old currency, against immigration, against same sex marriage, anti-globalization, anti-vaxxers, the most prominent members have fascist fathers (it doesn't mean much, but still) and made selfies with David Icke, believe and spread every populist conspiracy theory from microchips to mermaids and even obvious scams like perpetual motion engines. It also has that sweet hint of national socialism in the form of universal basic income, which is also the reason why they triumphed in Southern Italy (notoriously plagued by high unemployment).

I still believe conservatives will form the government, Berlusconi will buy enough SocDem MPs to achieve majority (he's done that in the past, I mean he's Berlusconi, he has enough money to buy the whole parliament if he wanted to) and 5 stars will go back to shouting and crying foul play like they've been doing for the past 5 years

Most of us can't afford to, its a common pitfall for britons to buy pre-made food and not bother reading anything but the price. Binging on snack food is also a easy pitfall.

I guess cheese is the most calorific easy to access food in britian.

The media is already giving the blame to the populist and conservatives' victory. Whatever the reasons, the city center has been devastated and the mayor is blaming the "political climate" as well, thus fanning the flames of outright riot even further

Sugar is very addictive, and there are people that have killed themselves through rapid weight loss - although thats unusually from either starving themselves, ODing on fat burners, or their fat clogged heart explodes because they pushed themselves into too much exercise too quick.

Dunno about the doctors where you're from XSI, but doctors in the U.S are super untrustworthy in this regard- they're basically just guessing since they only go by height, weight, and whether or not you look overweight, which can be super unreliable.

That does check out, given how many americans seem to be ok with what the rest of the world deems unhealthily overweight or obese :^)

At least the doctors over here in Dutchland actually look at you and try to figure out all the symptoms before they make a guess that's usually wrong

Something I've only really noticed in the last 7 years or so, basically since I turned 18

We have a fucking lot of Indian doctors in the US

They come here for the schooling, saying they're gonna go back to India when they're done
Notice the money in being a US doctor and stay

I wouldn't have a problem with this except for the fact that even 30 fucking years after you got your degree you still have the accent of someone who bathes in the Ganges every day and I need a nurse to translate even though you're technically speaking English

On the other hand Indian doctor has become synonymous of professionalism and competency

I dunno what kinda shit doctors you're seeing but my doctor knows what he's going.

My doctor's chill, he was out with MSF in Africa for years, married an African lady, divorced, and returned home to give extremely pragmatic advice and prescriptions because he's seen how fucking tough people can be even if you have absolutely zero medical supplies.
So I get to hear a lot of "this only helps the symptoms, you just gotta ride it out, I'm not giving you fifteen different pills that might help if I'm certain that with a bit of rest and tea you're gonna feel halfway okay without wasting your money on stupid shit."
