This is an accurate way to think about politicians. The ones who do show off their projects proudly tend to have projects that suck terribly. Just like in school

The cops didn't shoot him when he started shooting because he did it from far away and out of a window
SWAT teams did go floor to floor in that building to get him though.
Also unconfirmed reports of a woman making her way onto the stage and yelling "You are all going to die" and getting thrown out by security about 45 minutes before the shooting

I was expecting a good work week, followed by some jousting, followed by a trip to Mandalay bay aquarium (its a really nice shark aquarium). I mean... Alright so... I'm playing stardew valley and relaxing. Feel better. I'll give you a couple of my thoughts
There is no reason why this would happen that I can think of. Both democrats and republicans enjoy country music, and Vegas is supposed to be a place to have fun.
19 guns in the room..... Okay. So I've hauled guns a bunch when I've grown up, mostly AR-15s. I own one and my dad owns 2. They are about 9 pounds each and a bit unwieldy. Roughly it would take about 10 trips up and down to take them up to the room. Converting them... its not that hard but it's illegal. Anyways the point... I guess that's a lot of work. Lots of planning... Ultimately... lots of hate. For what? I just don't get the point other than hurting random people on the street.
I mean.. a random attack like this usually isn't planned out like this.
I do think his girlfriend or someone knows something about this. It seems like too much for a person to hide and do alone.
Anyways... I'm going back to farming. Thankfully my job is over so.. I guess I can relax for the rest of the week, but I think the tournament of kings and the mandalay bay shark reef isn't going to happen again till 2018 for me.

From what I heard out of unconfirmed sources:
1. A lady went on stage and shouted everyone there was going to die about 45 minutes before the attack. She was thrown out by security(?)
2. The guy who did it apparently had social media full of anti-trump stuff. Not that that's uncommon these days
Signs point to a deranged idiot and a girlfriend who may have encouraged it or helped plan. Either way, shit's fucked. People should not do this sort of thing because that's just being awful
Other theories currently floated at said unconfirmed sources include it being a government thing for more gun control laws. Because of course the bodies were still warm when the first cries for harsher gun laws were heard
Meh, all these attacks and shootings are pretty shit

Attack on a republican congressman -> you can easily assume political motivations. If the guy has leftist stuff on social media, well that's a bingo.
But how is this attack even related to Trump, besides country music? Does country music automatically mean republican? Are politics really that polarized in the US? If you create a new profile on any social media, you will be given a starting pack of stuff to follow/like, and all this stuff falls into the entertainment/media category. Following a media personality that once tweeted something critical of Trump doesn't make you an extremist, especially if you're a 65 year old guy who probably even posts minion memes. And, again, it will be hard to filter out the crazies if anyone who likes mainstream stuff is labeled "anti-trump".
And I really don't get why gun nuts go crazy fearing gun control laws every time a massacre happens, those things are the best thing ever for the gun industry. AFAIK people immediately rush gun shops to stock up on ammo and weapons because "dey gunna take our guns" and profits skyrocket, and no gun control laws ever happen. You are either already living in a liberal state with strict gun laws, or you're in a red state and nothing will change.

That's because historically, and in other nations, right after shootings is when gun control laws get passed

Pretty sure most of them were converted. All of them were legal according to the seller. That being said it isn't that hard to convert a AR 15 into a fully auto weapon. It is however very illegal.
Easiest conversion would be a ak 47.

My research indicates no information about a strong political association on the part of the Vegas shooter. The brother of the shooter claimed that he had no strong political beliefs in an interview with the Washington Post, and the following sources report either no information about the shooter's political or repeat the statement from the shooter's brother about his lack of political beliefs: CNN, WaPo, NBC, Fox, NY times, LA times. I have found no reputable sources reporting any political affiliation.
However, NY times reports and NBC corroborates that during the days leading up to the shooting, the shooter made extremely large gambling transactions, with cash-in and cash-outs in excess of $10,000. It is presently not available if he was winning or losing.
Area police report no evidence of a connection with international terrorism (NY times, WaPo, CNN).
There was however a google bomb by 4chan with the deliberate intent to introduce the false information that the shooter had definitive leftist associations. This is where that piece of information comes from. It has not been reported by any reputable source so far as my considerable searching indicates.

You would think that after having so many shootings you guys would be used to it by now. I mean the U.K has been bombed for decades and nobody really cares when a bombing happens anymore. An addition to this is that they do this to emotionally affect you on purpose, if you let yourself be affected well you're kinda just playing right into their hands.
