I think they said the fish you can fish for also play apart in the weapons and if it's anything like other game's fishing minigames looking at you Animal Crossing and Ocarina of Time then we're in for some shit.

Yeah, sticking to metas just takes any fun out of builds.
All trinitys run energy vamp builds.
All Octavias run 1000 BPS because everyone sucks at timing.
I just say fuck it and find something that looks fun to me.
Really loving Harrow and the Staticor/Pox recently.

I can get staticor up to 99% status chance from the status/damage mods or up to load it up with attack speed mods for some dumb fun.
With Pox I just make clouds of blast damage that chain stun enemies.

If it is, then that would do it alright. You'd eat through your ammo in a hearbeat.

I trapped a 27 stack of otto's sieging Naxos, by means of Grand Theft Cymba stealing the shit out of venetian boats in a previous war to raise my boats to 21 (maneuver admirals steal boats), getting Naxos as a vassal and letting corfu naturally fall into Ottoman hands because ill get a core on it anyway releasing it mid war with venice (they were going after duranzzo so i got called into my ally albania as a defender). I seperate peaced, nothing too rad.

Fast foward to present time while playing, i've took negroponte (glorious reconquest of Greece completed), currently converting it after a messy war with a Venice & Ottoman double alliance i managed to cheese by blocking the strait

I released Aydin with the intention to vassalise but Genoa got it, but since its so close and the otto's are interested in it ill leave it for the Ottos to go to war over, im also going to give the Alb's the reach around (i released them post-conquering) so i can get koscovo gold after i return one more province for them. Hungary is currently quite scary and i expect ill probably fight them in the near future.

You can't block the edirne strait at game-start because if you own both ends, you have access to it always, which means i would need to port ships over to biga then contest for a blockade to earn the strait, hence its a important core to take back as to equalise strait passages to be determined on my superior naval power.

The problem is that the game doesn't register key presses that way - no matter what my keyboard language is, the keys the game responds to are always in the same place.

I've owned the long dark for a long time now but didn't really touch it

it came out of early access with the story mode though so I started playing

in no particular order:

-this game is just a fucking canadian winter simulator, except it's unrealistic because wolves don't really go out of their way to attack people and the game actually lets you do shit without gloves on
-it didn't click that the character you play is voiced by mark meer until I hear jennifer hale in a cutscene, weird
-hey mark meer AND jennifer hale are canadian, the more you know
-it's kinda neat to see a survival game that's very slow paced and focused on environmental threats for once
-seriously, like, if you've never been up north, let me make it clear that if it's below like, -15 celcius, and you're outdoors for any significant length of time, you put on gloves or you suffer and wish for death, cold hands hurt when you try to do anything
-it takes like 20 seconds to try and light a fire, which is neat because it has a lot of tension if it's going to catch or not, but then I laughed because if you add accelerant like gas it makes it take ~2s
-it's got a great art style
-it was a bit obnoxious figuring things out the first time (to make a type of tea you harvest these plants you can find, then "prepare" them via crafting, then go to the food tab and "cook" them which is super unituitive, it doesn't require water as an ingredient

the peak of any paradox mod tbh and it doesnt even come close. its unbelievably descript and im pretty sure 99% of the countries have specific event.

Darkest hour is stand alone (and it's based on HoI 2 not 3, but doesn't require the game).

It's not so hard to learn, if you like kaiserreich you should really try it because the original mod is still the best thing ever (also no pesky trees that spoil all the event chains, you go in blind)
