Example: Round I just had as captain a traitor tried to slip me but fucked up and got himself instead. I found a bunch of traitor shit on him including a bomb. The dude behind the screen isn't my enemy, he's someone else just trying to have fun with the dumb space game.
There's so many interesting things you can do in this game and I cringe every time I see some virginal redshirt-main wordlessly lethaling or perma'ing somebody who's made it clear they don't intend to be a threat. SS13 isn't about winning against "the shitters" and you're only going to drive more people to greytide.

also valid hunting captains that fancy themselves HoS and spend the round ordering SEC around and telling us to arrest people for the dumbest stuff and then giving inane sentences when we bring them in.

One round recently a captain kept telling us who was "high priority" to arrest and I'd tase/cuff the red W's, click and see a note for like "broke glass in bar" or "stole gloves" or something stupid. First few times I played along and hauled them into brig but then quit once the captain made it clear he was perfectly fine perma'ing/1000pt gulaging people for small stuff on a green shift. I just started arresting people, removing the red W and they'd somehow "escape".

it was one of the few rounds the SEC hate from the crew was actually legitimate

miners who roundstart rush to get augs as the only miner creating about 20 minutes of downtime with no mats
miners who hunt megafauna and retire; mining only the things they get from following signals and making arenas
miners who don't mine as non tators you know what fuck you if you don't mine as a miner any tator would kill for a katana or memento mori or some shit like that why aren't you mining

I still have grievances that this is acceptable depending who you're talking too.

Also, morphs are a non-issue because they suck HARD.

When you play on Terry and ahelp, no admins are on and you don't get a response even when the round ends an hour+ later.

When you try to TC trade and actually have an admin on for once and they decide to not to trade because they denied someone else a different trade the same round.

When people barge in to xenobio and demand xenoling, or just start emptying slime pens to make xenoling themselves.

Engi sec officer steals the last pair of gloves, leaving the poor dumb engi gloveless, but sec won’t ever arrest him. It gets funny when sec asks for a (insert soammable lethal weapon here) as warden because there’s (stunnable threat here) and I say no because they’re gonna abuse it and they say “WELL DON’T EXPECT ME TO DO MY JOB IF YOU NEED HELP IN THR FUTURE” like bitch I should still expect it, I’m doing my job by not giving you a tempgun which I KNOW you’ll spam at people as if it doesn’t hurt, you do yours and protect and serve.

My favorite of all, though, is people who make rage stories cuz admins wouldn’t give them a tc trade.

People who keep ordering something that is impossible for me to accomplish or constantly re-stating it as though reality will change to allow it.
Security officers who use confiscated emags to emag cyborgs, and cyborgs who let it happen.
People forgetting armoury/toxins/engineerin/atmos/upload are restricted areas and can be denied access given probable cause
People forgetting you can't abide hurting a human a little bit to stop a lot of harm they would do down the line
People blaming you for firelock crushing caused by a fire alarm

When there is a disease spreading and I have a cure but no one will take it and refuse to take their masks off for me to feed it to them

Being emagged by Sec or the Captain is fun, because they will inevitably tell me the whole crew is syndicate. So if I see a fight happen, I can roll up and stun-arm the aggressor, drag them away, and helpfully remind them not to harm syndicate agents.

I tried to get them made more portable with a W_CLASS reduction but I got turned down

Imagine that you’re looking at the computer of your acquaintance right next to you. You ask them to click on something, but when they take too many seconds for your liking you grab their hand to move the mouse and press down on their fingers to click. It’s not inconvenient, but it is wierd and rude.

Granted, real life isn’t the same as a 2D space clowning simulator, but the illustration holds up more or less

it's rude, the other character is a person, you're playing a (you can argue with me about this, but i believe it's a roleplaying) game in which rounds last from 45 minutes to 2 hours, if waiting 10 seconds is really that annoying then play a different game
i know tg is low rp but refusing to do something as basic as asking someone to open an airlock is just no rp at all. you can even justify doing it with roleplay if the person is actively ignoring you, but otherwise you're just using other players as your ID card.

I will occasionally just copy paste the code words round start if I'm a traitor and I haven't been burned yet. Also, I'm sure you can ahelp someone killing you as long as you were subtle.

There was synthflesh available because another doctor vended it just as the CMO dragged the body away. I really miss being able to vend items as a borg.

When you spend a considerable amount of time tending to someone who likely killed themselves with their own plants. Defibbing them, giving pentetic to purge all the toxins so they don't immediately die again and then having them insult you for taking too long. :^)

The latter makes me laugh because I saw several people walk past their body in the halls until I grabbed them.

People who weirdly hover around you. Iunno if this happens to other people but sometimes I get people who hover around me. And my powergamer brain thinks 'either he is a creep (antag), tot/ling, hivemind or just actually creepy and it's becoming unnerving'. Sometimes it's the former and they were timing their attack in a really blatant manner. It happens. But a lot of the time it was the latter.

I don't mean like, trying to be friendly and involved in what you're doing or asking for stuff from you and killing time with small talk. Asking questions about what you're doing. Sometimes people just want to learn from someone experienced. I mean like commenting on innane shit and watching you work quietly for a long time. It's kinda creepy eeky.

For me it's when the AI/borgs consider a wrench, insulated gloves, paper, etc harmful and use law 1 to reject your orders. That or silicons who see you disarm someone once and immediately chainflash you and weld you into a locker and drag you to sec while ignoring all law 2 orders because "MUH LAW 1"
