It was all over the hut for a over week because cat people got removed from both servers then put back onto bagil and discussed among the community at length. Of course you aren't a part of the community.

Also it's fucking hilarious how assblasted you are over a simple word, it's hardly an unknown word unless you aren't a native speaker of the language, once again just showing that if someone does something you don't like instead of like most people just moving on with their lives you need to writhe and scream over it. The history of cats on Sybil is interesting. Originally, cats were disabled on sybil. Then came Lzimann, who disabled cats on basil as well on his last day as headmin, using this flimsy excuse: "Both server should run with the same features." The new headmins, instead of just re-enabling cats, took the bait and decided to hold a poll on both servers, asking the playerbase if they wanted cats enabled on both basil and sybil or not at all. The idea was to reduce the chances of cats winning the poll, because at the time sybil had a larger playerbase and cat-haters expected that sybil players would vote to preserve the status quo, especially since cats were simply unknown to them.

But as the saying goes, you can't always get what you want, and the plan backfired spectacularly. Cats won the poll by a wide margin, with the majority of both servers combined voting in favour of them, and cats were enabled on both servers, as agreed.

Of course, cat-haters couldn't actually live with cats on both servers, and cats were eventually quietly disabled on sybil at some point in the following months, thus confirming that the whole "cats on both servers or not at all" had just been just a failed ploy to rig the poll against cats.
