Ok so todays Psycho Pass 2 episode was... interesting...
Not quite sure what to think. Seems like they solved all the mysteries in one episode, which is a bit of a bummer, suppose it is episode 8/11 so the wrapping up has begun.

in a way psycho pass has basically become a gigantic parody of itself

that's a tough task but they pulled it off

i really hate this season and think it's fucking retarded in a lot of ways with several holes in the story but there are always enough moments in it for me to not drop it. the second half of ep 9 had a brilliant set piece so i suppose i can spare the time to catch the 2 episodes remaining to see how this new director wraps things up.

ps. i think urobuchi is one of the most overrated active showrunners in any sort of modern media but this new director is dogshit please come back butcher

I didn't find it sad. Well okay I found the bits between her leaving 4eva and just before the end sad, but if you look at it, he learns to let go through Riza and can finally stop hurting both himself and others. That last bit where he looks over and potentially sees her and then the train appears and shes gone symbolises that fact, she's gone, she's left his life just like he left her life a long time ago.
maybe im overanalysing it but idgaf it was a good anime and especially a good manga and i enjoyed both of them.
