I have great insurance and benefits when it comes to sickdays so that's not really a concern.

A box of these gloves is like $5 or something. It's really not a big deal. I'm sure if I wanted to go through the channels about it I could get it all taken care of but I really don't want to put my employer through all that. Besides, if my idea works I get all the credit for having it.

It's never gone flat on me. Maybe your co workers need a bit of self control. I like it a lot, since I can have my phone perpetually silent and still receive call and text notifications.
