The other part of it is that the dems are suffering from a lot of "if you don't back every cause 100% to the hilt then I don't want anything to do with you, blocked" among their supporters - and some of them will take supporting a leftist cause

It's not that there's no infighting on the right, but whatever infighting there is tends not to lead to people, say, cutting people they've been best friends with for years out of their lives over a fucking tweet that wasn't worded very well (literally something I saw happen last night)
