Your side of the story: . Situation: i posted a meme with penetrating machine (that one with piston and white rod from ender) from minecraft and nearby standing confused by it yellow pony. Then i got messaged by this admin with following "hey buddy. i need you to tone down the posting of things like this in tgstation general. thanks. this isnt tg related. this isnt a nsfw channel. this isnt a nsfw server". you gotta be normal". My first thoughts were "weird, but okey. i guess this are the rules" and then jokingly typed "no" with posted gif of freaky cat. I didnt violated any rules after and wasnt going to do that but soon was muted for a day with following reason "reconsider". I got pinged by this mute and got upset because of that. I tried to communicate with that admin in pm and this is what it lead to: "why you have muted me. did i post enything after your words? just typed no. how did i violate any rules by this?" -> "pro tip: when an admin .tells you to stop breaking rules do not write "no". glad to clear this up" -> "but what rule i violated by saying no" -> "rule 1: don't be a dick. if youve got a problem with the timeout you can appeal it on the forums" -> "how it do relate to this. fine. i will go to forum" -> "ok 👍".
Why you think you should be unbanned: because it doesnt make sense. I still not getting it how saying "no" was considered by this person to me being a "dick" and i ask for lifting my punishment.

generally when you are approached by an admin with a request to stop breaking the rules saying "no" makes us think you are going to continue breaking them
at the very least it shows no real care for the rules

I was pinged by another user saying that those images you posted (because the mlp minecraft sex machine image in tg-gen wasn't the only one) were weird, not suited for tg-gen (they were correct), and that it made them uncomfortable
so at that point I'm already clearing out NSFW posts of yours in a channel they're not meant to be in, and at that point I have a choice on my hands of what I do in response to those sorts of images
either I can just delete them and tell you to stop (in which you say "sure" and we don't go beyond that) or you say "no" and I time you out because players are well in their right to talk themselves into a worse punishment


You chose option B, and immediately after you complained as though utterly confused as to why consequences would follow when you tell an admin who's already cleaning up after you that you're not going to stop. Get real.
