Selecting this null rod option turns your null rod into a banana idol that does no damage, but you can activate it in hand to summon either a ghost role 'Demonkey', or 'Bananangel' to accompany you.
Upon activating the banana idol, it will ask you "Mischief or Mirth?" If you answer Mischief, it will summon the Demonkey. If you answer Mirth, it will summon the Bananangel.
The only difference between the two monkey familiars is that the Demonkey looks like a red, horned monkey, and has a claw arm that deals 10 brute + 5 burn, whereas the Bananangel is a white monkey with a golden halo, and has a holy arm that heals a little bit of brute and burn with each smack.
Both monkeys are immune to environmental hazards, including not needing to breathe, they are magic immune, since they're tethered to the null rod, and they cannot move more than 20 tiles away from the banana idol, kind of like a pai hologram. They get an ability that lets them teleport to the banana idol, or whoever is holding it. They cannot wear clothes apart from hats and radios, and they only have one empty hand they can use to hold things. (Yes, they technically can hold or drag the banana idol for free movement, although that would deprive the chaplain of their magic immunity.) They have the same hp as normal monkeys, but they will slowly regenerate their hp over time. If they die, then they will have to be summoned again with the banana idol.
If the chaplain doesn't like their monkey familiar, they can hit their banana idol with their bible to purge their monkey familiar and then activate their idol again to get a new one.
If a ghost doesn't answer the poll to become a divine monkey, then tough luck!
Coders, add this please, it's funny.
