Hello fellow spessmans, it's that time of year again.
I've been working on this the past couple of weeks and it's finally at a point for release.
Is it scuffed? Beyond belief. Did logs break again this year? Fantastically and also they changed format right in the middle of the year (agony).

/tg/station 13 wrapped 2023
All data is pulled from all servers displaying Jan 1st 2023 to December 17th/18th 2023. That was the cutoff date and processing takes awhile.
This is hopefully the last year I'll parse regular game logs and plan to move over to parsing the new JSON game logs for the foreseeable future.
As usual, open the images externally to view in their full size, the forums like to shrink stuff.
As usual, a favorite statistic. IC names across all servers. Populated by log activity. The more you spoke, emoted, or otherwise populated the game log, the bigger your name is.

Similar graph to the above except it's by CKEY for all servers. The rest of the stats: encompassing such thing as cow moos per server, which server said "ERP" and "Horny" the most and of course, the infamous stat. Context: Looks like someone made a ckeyless drone say the n word via circuit 808 times. With these instances removed, Manuel falls to 5-25 depending on if you fuzzy match on the word.

Explosions 2023Sybil had the most explosions by amount and on individual day. Terry had at least one big spike towards the end of the year.
The emergency shuttle still explodes the most (surprise) and exploded 26,978 times during the 2023 year (not including days after the 17th).
For some reason, the Centcom Recovery Wing explodes more on Manuel than Terry and Sybil.
The fuel tank continued to be the most exploded item.
Supply pods and Bluespace supply pods are heavily used in the cargo bay and not much else.
Finally, Omega_DarkPotato was this year's mad bomber with over 200 explosions across Sybil and Manuel (cheating with admin perhaps???).
Zealouszeke was the second highest and also the highest non-admin.
Admin Smites 2023Striders13 was the most smite happy admin (logout if you see them on!). They launched a whopping 1034 fireballs.
The only other admin to have a notably high smite count was Cheshify who also breached 1000 with 1040 lightning bolts.
Following tradition, the most smited ckey was mobs/NPCs/no ckey. Admins continue to be weirdos and let out their sociopathic tendencies out on lifeless mobs.
The other thing to note is admins love smiting each other with quite a lot of other admins in the top 20 smited ckeys.
Monkey 445 must be one of the most common monkey numbers or somehow it managed to get fireballed more than any other monkey though monkey 548 gave it a run for its money and managed to get hit with bluespace artillery 184 times.
There wasn't really any character or ckey that was targeted across multiple admins, each smite happy admin seemed to be content in smiting their pocket of victims and didn't share.

I'm curious to see if the Manuel shuttle bombing is happening before or after the end of the round. We have a lot of sci players that will use TTVs and whatnot the moment the shuttle docks with centcom. It gets a bit absurd really, some shifts you’ll see two super mechs, the entire sci team with ttvs, etc, as you board the shuttle. Also admins have a massive boner for instantly missile bombing the shuttle in my experience
Also the recovery wing getting bombed more on Manuel doesn't shock me since there's some players that will specifically use pods so they can be more likely to be able to kill a bunch of people without instantly being killed by the five guys with TTVs on the shuttle
