Your side of the story: I walked into brig. I found the warden, the HOP, an officer, a paramed and an assistant who had shoved and cuffed me before. The paramed told me they wanted to lobotomise the assistant and they had agreed to it. The officer told me that the assisstant had assaulted them. At first I agreed to the assitant being lobotomised but the HOP was against this. I didnt really think much of it since at worst a lobotmy might give a negative permanent brain trauma. The assistant didnt resist as much so I told them to deal with it thinking it would be fine and I went to check out the station as ther had been reports of heretics. I later get a couple of messages from the warden that the assistant had assaulted them multiple times. The warden wanted to execute them. I told them to put the assistant in perma. After this I get bwoinked and told that apparently the assistant apparently got multiple lobotomies and that I told them to do this. I had no idea of multiple lobotomies and thought that they would at worst just do one. I tried to explain my side of the story but I got the feeling that the admin in question was completely on the side of the assistant and needed someone to ban or something. Before I felt the conversation was over and everything was talked about I got the ban whilest in a conversation with the CMO.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I feel like I got blamed for something that I didnt actively participate in. I had no idea about multiple lobotomies. The worst I was aware of that they would do was a single lobotomy. This doesnt kill them or compeltely ruin their round and it kinda fit RP wise since the assistant in question was randomly asaulting officers which is antisocial behaviour. I feel very strongly that the ban is an overreaction. I've had way worse happen to me with no repercussions to the person that did them to me after calling an admin. So either I've been msitreated a lot or this assistant is getting some special treatment.

It seems that the first "lobotomy" (actualy just brain surgery) was the only one done to punish Phoebe, the other two were done by Fia Rakki to fix Phoebe's brain from the botched first surgery.

• Phoebe was a traitor (I was not aware of this but it would explain the repeated assaults)

• After my character was deleted Phoebe got my (HOS) ID (if not other items, I'm not sure how I would be able to see that in the logs)

Hey, sorry it took me a couple of days to find time to go through this. In short, I'm happy to reduce the ban to just a 3 day jobban in recognition of your less direct role, however you still handled this far from acceptably.

From this snippet of logs we can see you knew what was happening, and were actively in a conversation with the warden and paramedic. (Side note: This is how one surgery resulted in 6+ brain traumas, by using a pen to cause the surgery step to repeatedly fail)

As a rule of thumb, if you can't justify permabrigging someone, then you shouldn't be subjecting them to forced medical experimentation either. Them briefly shoving and cuffing you earlier with no sign of negative repercussions to yourself, and later trying and failing to do the same to the sec officer isn't enough to justify perma. You could at any time (and should) have told them to stop and use a normal punishment like the brig cells or gulag. Even if they then continued against your orders, you wouldn't be responsible for that if you made a good faith effort to tell them to stop.

Thanks for responding. I didn't realise that they were talking about using a pen for the lobotomy. Three day job ban sounds reasonable though since I guess I did allow it to happen.
